Refund & Exchange Policy

This Refund & Exchange Policy applies to all purchases made through This Is Playa, owned by Generational Integrity Trust and managed by Polymath Genius Media.

By purchasing tickets, promotional features, or memberships, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. General Policy – No Refunds

All sales are final.

We do not offer refunds for:

  • Event tickets
  • Promotional features
  • Memberships
  • Digital or service-based products

Once a purchase is completed, it is considered confirmed and non-refundable.

2. Exchange Requests (Case-by-Case Consideration)

While refunds are not offered, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise.

We may consider exchange requests on a case-by-case basis when:

  • A ticket cannot be used due to legitimate circumstances
  • An event is rescheduled
  • A purchaser experiences an unavoidable conflict

Possible exchange solutions may include:

  • Transfer to a future event
  • Credit toward another This Is Playa event
  • Ticket name transfer (if permitted for that event)

Approval of exchanges is at our sole discretion.

3. Exchange Request Requirements

To request an exchange:

  • Contact us at support@thisisplaya.site
  • Submit your request at least 24 hours before the event (when possible)
  • Provide your order confirmation and explanation

Failure to attend an event without prior communication does not guarantee eligibility for exchange consideration.

4. Event Cancellation or Rescheduling

If an event is:

A. Rescheduled

Your ticket will automatically remain valid for the new date.

If you cannot attend the new date, you may request an exchange.

B. Canceled by the Organizer

At our discretion, you may be offered:

  • Credit toward a future event
  • Transfer to another event
  • Refund (if required by law or deemed appropriate)

5. Promotional Features & Memberships

Promotional feature purchases and memberships are service-based and time-sensitive.

They are non-refundable.

In exceptional circumstances, we may:

  • Adjust the promotional period
  • Offer future credit

Such adjustments are not guaranteed.

6. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us to resolve an issue may result in:

  • Suspension of account access
  • Ineligibility for future purchases

We encourage direct communication to resolve concerns respectfully and efficiently.

7. Legal Compliance

Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights under:

  • Mexican consumer protection law
  • United States of America consumer protection law
  • European Union consumer protection law

Where local law requires a refund, applicable legal standards will apply.
